RICHARD SHULBY, AIA, LEED AP® BD+C, NCARB

Richard is a client-oriented registered architect with an extensive background in aviation projects, including major commercial hub airports. He is skilled at planning, design, and organizing multiple complex projects and building effective teams. He also has extensive experience in managing interior teams and projects in 24/7 facilities. He has ability to identify salient issues, provide resolutions, and direct efforts toward a successful conclusion while maintaining the varying goals of diverse parties involved. Richard is proficient in creation of contractual agreements and application of legal requirements in design and construction. He is also proficient in performing facility assessment and preparing design reports. Richard has provided architectural services to MAA, primarily for projects at BWI Marshall, both as an Architect Design Consultant and as a Project/Program Manager. As the architectural member of program management teams for larger capital improvement projects, he has provided planning, design, and construction oversight and review services for projects ranging in excess of $130 million.
