Construction Underway for the Eagle Achievement Center at Coppin State University

JMT Architecture is excited to announce the beginning of construction of the Eagle Achievement Center (EAC) at Coppin State University. The new EAC will create a welcoming ‘one-stop shop’ with multiple student services.  JMT’s design erodes physical and perceived barriers to these services by creating an accessible and supportive environment rather than the more traditional, transactional experience typically encountered by students.  The plan mixes offices and meeting spaces with lounges to encourage collaborative engagement across a spectrum of centralized services. A thoughtful and encompassing approach to the contemporary design of the EAC will create a desired “heart” for the campus community and a vital part of students’ academic and social success.
