The Student Services Center is the new heart of student, faculty, alumni and community activities for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore campus. The prominent dome is the highest point on campus providing a landmark and building identity on this traditional Georgian campus. The building includes a 800 seat dining hall, a separate 100 seat faculty dining room and servery, a snack bar, a recreation center including bowling alley, billiards, ping-pong and games, a campus mail facility, a 4,000 SF bookstore, numerous multipurpose rooms, a 10,000 SF ballroom sub-dividable into four separate meeting rooms, a 500 seat performance auditorium, student organization offices, a chapel, numerous student lounges and administrative offices.
