Samford University purchased an adjacent former corporate headquarters campus for conversion for their growing College of Health Sciences (CHS). The renovation includes academic environments to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration across the four schools that comprise the CHS: The School of Nursing, The School of Pharmacy, The School of Health Professions & The School of Public Health. The facility includes state-of-the-art classrooms and class labs including a 24,000 NASF simulation center, physical and occupational therapy labs, respiratory therapy labs, public health labs, kinesiology & sports medicine labs, pharmacy research laboratories and a clinic as well as faculty and administrative offices and numerous student areas all to support the unique requirements of the varied programs that make up the College.
